Things at Lifehouse That Just Make Sense

There are so many aspects of working at Lifehouse that make it a wonderful choice for anyone looking to forge a new career path in this industry. Here are some of our favourite things about the location, the facilities and, of course, the wonderful people of Lifehouse.

Health & Wellbeing

Not only do our employees get free use of the Gym and Spa facilities, but we’re also located in the beautiful Essex countryside! Anyone who works here can spend their lunchtime exploring the private gardens or just take a quick break to breathe in that fresh country air. Mental health is a top priority for us, which is why we offer Mental Health First Aid Training to our employees.

Employee Perks

Working at a spa has its perks! There are lots of great deals and discounts available to employees, plus their guests, such as a complimentary overnight stay and treatment of their choice. There are also fun prizes available for our employees of the month.

Training & Growth

For anyone looking to improve their skills or learn something completely new, we offer team training session and further education courses. Our staff are entitled to personal training at £20 per hour to help them develop and grow within their roles. To encourage and reward performance, we provide team sales incentives and offer commission on retail sales by spa therapists. And if you read some of our current staff’s career journeys, you’ll see there are lots of opportunities for internal progression.

Positive Atmosphere

We all know what really makes a positive workplace – the people! Team Lifehouse is a super friendly bunch, always willing to help and support each other while also making every guest feel special during their stay with us. We’re lucky enough to welcome lovely visitors every day and have won multiple awards for our customer service skills. And it’s nice to know we’re working at an eco-friendly, sustainable facility where every effort is made to reduce our carbon footprint.
