Working At A Sustainable Spa

If you’ve visited Lifehouse Spa, you might remember we have our very own beehive on the property! We’re currently in the process of moving them to a beautiful spot amongst the ponds in the garden, soon to be known as Bee Island. We use the honey from this beehive in our restaurant, just one of the ways we are continually improving our facilities to make Lifehouse as eco-friendly as possible.

Some other sustainable practises that we’re proud of at Lifehouse:

  • Refillable toiletries in our hotel rooms and changing rooms

  • The use of local suppliers as much as possible for food, drinks and other stock

  • Installation of solar panels and electric car charging points

  • Reduced use of plastics and paper

  • A thorough recycling process

We are continually increasing and improving these practises, but you can take a look at the current full list of processes for more information.

Once you start working at Lifehouse, you can even join our onsite Lifehouse Eco Committee who meet regularly to analyse our impact on the environment and find ways to improve all aspects of the business. Ready to start your career journey with us? Check out our current vacancies!
