Celebrate Pride Month

As Pride Month approaches, we’re celebrating everything it represents! But the colourful branding and party atmosphere can sometimes allow us to forget the rich history and struggle of the LGBT+ community.

From the Stonewall Riots in New York to the impact of the AIDS pandemic on Britain, and everyone who came before and after those historic moments, the LGBT+ community has constantly had to fight for everything they deserve.

Even today, despite the anti-discrimination laws in the UK, many still feel uncomfortable being ‘out’ in their workplace or worry they will be treated differently based on their sexual orientation.
