Here at Lifehouse, we’re incredibly lucky to work in the Essex countryside, surrounded by natural beauty and with easy access to the seaside. Besides being a beautiful place to spent time, there are a lot of health and wellness benefits to working outdoors and amongst natural surroundings:

Spending time outside in the fresh air and sunshine (weather dependent) can improve your mood and reduce anxiety. Taking a quick walk around the Lifehouse grounds can change your perspective!

Being outside increases your oxygen intake, helping you be more productive and boosting your energy for the rest of the day. A great way to beat the midday slump!

Relieves stress levels

Even just opening a window and letting in the sweet smells of nature and fresh air from the gardens can reduce cortisol and other stress-inducing hormones.

If you work in front of a screen, taking time away is really important to avoid strain. Gazing at distant points can help relax your eyes and brain, and there’s so much to look at in our gardens!
